The MCM series took place close to the Sesimbra harbour from the 16th to the 18th during the first week of the REPMUS19 exercise. Several areas were prepared so that a bigger number of participants could operate at the same time. FEUP team surveyed the area S_Alpha on the first day and S_Bravo on the second day with AUVs of the Noptilus class using Side Scan Sonars and HD Cameras with the goal of finding all the deployed decoy mines.

In addition to FEUP, the exercise also counted on the participation of DMS MW (Portuguese Navy), Oceanscan-MST, Turkish Navy, Polish Navy, Belgium Navy, USA Sixth Fleet and British Royal Navy.
